Dieser Bautyp entsteht vermutlich als Gegenma\u00dfnahme f\u00fcr Schwarzpulverwaffen, die sich im 15.\u00a0Jahrhundert mehr und mehr durchsetzen. Wie auch viele andere Burgen und St\u00e4dte der Region, erh\u00e4lt Neurandsberg eine Erg\u00e4nzung der Verteidigungsanlagen um einen \u00e4u\u00dferen Zwinger. Dieser Bautyp kann sich jedoch nicht dauerhaft durchsetzen, da er gegen die aufkommenden Schwarzpulverwaffen keinen Bestand hat. H\u00e4ufig wird ein entsprechendes Torhaus durch flankierende T\u00fcrme gesch\u00fctzt, oder selbst als Torturm errichtet. Die Wegf\u00fchrung ist grundlegend f\u00fcr den Standort der Torbauten, welche in Neurandsberg bisher nicht eindeutig nachgewiesen sind. Beim vermuteten Haupttor im S\u00fcdosten der Ringmauer sind keine Fundamente vorzufinden, wobei f\u00fcr einen Torneubau f\u00fcr gew\u00f6hnlich Fundamente eingeplant sind. Folglich handelt es sich hier um eine j\u00fcngere Bauma\u00dfnahme. Die Lage und Ausf\u00fchrung der urspr\u00fcnglichen Torbauten Neurandsbergs sind ungekl\u00e4rt.<\/p><p>Eine Variante f\u00fcr den Standort von Torbauten ist aufgrund der historischen Wegf\u00fchrung im S\u00fcdosten zu erwarten. Die Grundrisse der Jahre <a href=\"https:\/\/denkmal.arctron.de\/neurandsberg\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2023\/07\/StALA7809-Web.jpg\">1920<\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/denkmal.arctron.de\/neurandsberg\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2023\/07\/KdB-Fig.-131.jpg\">1929 <\/a>deuten auf eine entsprechende Wegf\u00fchrung in diesem Abschnitt hin. So ist ein direkter Anschluss zum heutigen Haupttor m\u00f6glich, welches vermutlich dem sp\u00e4teren Burgenbau entsprach, wie es auch in der Zeichnung der Ruine von <a href=\"https:\/\/denkmal.arctron.de\/neurandsberg\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2023\/07\/StALA7804-Web-e1690364619934.jpg\">1867 <\/a>zu identifizieren ist. Bauliche \u00c4nderungen an der Ruine gab es vermutlich erst w\u00e4hrend der Ruinensicherungen 1970.<\/p><p>So kommen an dieser Stelle im S\u00fcdosten f\u00fcr die Rekonstruktion zwei Torbauten in Frage. Der erste Torbau f\u00fcr den \u00e4u\u00dferen Zwinger und der Zweite f\u00fcr die Kernburg. Die Staffelung von Torbauten und Torzwingern auf dem Hauptweg zur Burg ist durchaus g\u00e4ngig, wie z.B. auch in Donaustauf mit sechs Torbauten hintereinander. Beim ersten rekonstruierten Torbau handelt es sich um den angedeuteten Rechteckbau der \u00e4u\u00dferen Zwingermauer im S\u00fcdosten, \u00e4hnlich wie der Bau der im Grundriss von <a href=\"https:\/\/denkmal.arctron.de\/neurandsberg\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2023\/07\/StALA7809-Web.jpg\">1920<\/a>\u00a0 angedeutet ist. Der zweite rekonstruierte Torbau steht vor dem heutigen Haupttor und erschlie\u00dft somit die Kernburg. Die heute noch existierende Quermauer beim Tor, sowie die Zeichnung der Ruine von <a href=\"https:\/\/denkmal.arctron.de\/neurandsberg\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2023\/07\/StALA7804-Web-e1690364619934.jpg\">1867<\/a> lassen dies vermuten.<\/p><p>In der Zeichnung wird die Torsituation im \u00e4hnlichen Zustand wie heute dargestellt. Dabei ist die \u00f6stliche Quermauer beim Haupttor mit einem Geschoss mehr und Fenster erhalten. Hierbei k\u00f6nnte es sich um die Wand eines Randhauses des Zwingers oder eines Torbaus handeln. Unter der Annahme, dass es sich hier doch um eine Darstellung der Burg handelt, wenn auch verf\u00e4lscht, lassen sich daraus verschiedene R\u00fcckschl\u00fcsse auf die Bauphasen und die Rekonstruktion ziehen.<\/em><\/p><p><em>Es m\u00fcsste sich um eine Westansicht der Burg handeln. Dabei ist links in der Zeichnung die n\u00f6rdliche Kernburg mit Wohnturm zu sehen und rechts davon ein s\u00fcdlicher Torzwinger mit Turm. Der Torzwinger erschlie\u00dft den s\u00fcdlichen, leicht fallenden Zuweg zur Burg, rechts in der Zeichnung. Die Darstellung der Kernburg mit Wohnturm, sowie des Zuweges k\u00f6nnten durchaus der heutigen Situation entsprechen. Jedoch sind von den s\u00fcdlichen Bauten, dem Torzwinger als auch dem Turm, heute h\u00f6chstens Spuren zu erahnen. Der Turm hinter dem Torzwinger l\u00e4sst sich nicht eindeutig zuordnen. Er dient jedoch sicherlich der Verteidigung des Torzwingers, wenn er nicht selbst Teil dessen ist.<\/em><\/p><p><em>Auff\u00e4llig ist au\u00dferdem das Abbleiben der \u00e4u\u00dferen Zwingermauer mit Schalent\u00fcrmen, obwohl diese aufgrund ihrer Konstruktionsweise zum Zeitpunkt der Zeichnung schon existiert haben m\u00fcsste. Au\u00dferdem ist die Kapelle St. Maria nicht dargestellt, wobei sie auf der uneinsehbaren gegen\u00fcberliegenden Ostseite der Burg lag.<br und Quermauern des \u00e4u\u00dferen Zwingers. Dort sind drei Ziegelsteinnischen in die Au\u00dfenseite der Ringmauer der Kernburg gearbeitet. Diese wurden bei j\u00fcngsten Bauma\u00dfnahmen entfernt und zugemauert. Eine Vermutung ist, dass es sich hier um den Einbau der drei Gef\u00e4ngniszellen aus dem Jahr 1582 handelt, wobei hier eine Verwechslung der Himmelsrichtungen Ost und West, nach der eigentlichen \u00dcberlieferung, vorliegen m\u00fcsste. Der Anbau von Gef\u00e4ngniszellen s\u00fcdwestlich des Bergfrieds konnte bisher nicht nachgewiesen werden. Bei den zwei s\u00fcdlichen Mauerwerksans\u00e4tzen k\u00f6nnte es sich stattdessen auch um weitere Zwingermauern handeln, so wie sie in der Rekonstruktion dargestellt sind.<\/p><p>Im n\u00f6rdlichen Bereich des \u00f6stlichen Zwingers ist ein Randhaus rekonstruierbar. Das Mauerwerk verl\u00e4uft parallel hinter der \u00e4u\u00dferen Zwingermauer und \u00fcberschneidet den dortigen Schalenturm. Im Norden und Nordosten ist die Mauer besser erhalten als im S\u00fcden und S\u00fcdwesten. Hier l\u00e4sst sich noch die urspr\u00fcngliche H\u00f6he des Wehrgangs aufgrund der Konstruktionsauflagerstufe erahnen.<\/p><p>Im S\u00fcden und S\u00fcdwesten dagegen finden sich nur noch lose Mauerwerksreste, der Verlauf l\u00e4sst sich hier nur noch anhand der Topgrafie und der historischen Lagepl\u00e4ne rekonstruieren. Zur Unterst\u00fctzung der Rekonstruktion dienen die verschiedenen Grundrissdarstellungen aus den Jahren <a href=\"https:\/\/denkmal.arctron.de\/neurandsberg\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2023\/07\/StALA7807-scaled-e1690464385116.jpg\">1867<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/denkmal.arctron.de\/neurandsberg\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2023\/07\/StALA7809-Web.jpg\">1920<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/denkmal.arctron.de\/neurandsberg\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2023\/07\/KdB-Fig.-131.jpg\">1929<\/a> und der <a href=\"https:\/\/denkmal.arctron.de\/neurandsberg\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2023\/07\/Uraufnahme-Ausschnitt.jpg\">Uraufnahme <\/a>des 19. Jahrhunderts. Hier wurden zwei Schalent\u00fcrme im S\u00fcden, sowie der rechtwinklige Abschluss im S\u00fcdosten \u00fcbernommen. An der Position des rekonstruierten westlichen Schalenturms im S\u00fcden sind heute noch Fundament\u00fcberreste eines gr\u00f6\u00dferen Baus zu erkennen. Auch beim \u00f6stlichen Schalenturm im S\u00fcden ist ein Mauerwerksansatz vorzufinden.<\/p><p>Der \u00f6stliche Abschnitt wurde im ruinenhaften Zustand um 1700, wegen Gef\u00e4hrdung der Kirche unterhalb, abgetragen. Die \u00e4u\u00dfere Zwingermauer ist im S\u00fcdosten beim Tor an die \u00e4ltere Quermauer stumpf angemauert, ein Hinweis auf eine sp\u00e4tere Bauphase.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element
